Após 520 casos confirmados da síndrome mão-pé-boca entre alunos da rede municipal, a Prefeitura de Franca (SP) anunciou a suspensão das aulas em todas as creches para realizar um mutirão de limpeza nesta sexta-feira (29).
“Nessa data as unidades passarão por uma higienização geral e como permanecerão fechadas nos dois dias seguintes, sábado (30) e domingo (31), haverá tempo suficiente para eliminação do vírus da doença”, diz o comunicado divulgado pelo governo.
Segundo a assessoria da Prefeitura, cerca de 8,6 mil crianças com até 4 anos e 11 meses de idade estão matriculadas nas creches municipais. Em ao menos seis das 68 unidades de ensino foram confirmados casos da doença nos três primeiros meses do ano.
“A Divisão de Creches do município recebeu instruções da Vigilância Epidemiológica, do médico Homero Antônio Rosa Júnior, para uma higienização geral com produtos de uso comum em cada unidade, especialmente dos brinquedos e locais onde as crianças tem mais contatos”, informou.
A Vigilância Epidemiológica também divulgou nesta quarta-feira (27) um informe técnico e, segundo a assessoria da Prefeitura, uma nova avaliação será realizada na próxima semana.
Dados da Biblioteca Virtual do Ministério da Saúde informam que a síndrome mão-pé-boca é uma doença contagiosa causada pelo coxsackie, enterovírus que habita o sistema digestivo e que também pode provocar estomatites.
A transmissão ocorre por via oral, através do contato direto com pacientes, com a saliva e secreções deles, e até mesmo com alimentos e objetos contaminados. Os sintomas mais comuns são febre, mal-estar, falta de apetite, vômitos e diarreia.
Ainda segundo o Ministério da Saúde, não existe vacina contra a doença mão-pé-boca. Em geral, os sintomas regridem espontaneamente após alguns dias. O paciente deve permanecer em repouso, ingerir bastante líquido e alimentar-se bem.

The cable car project is a joint venture of the Jammu and Kashmir government and French firm Pomagalski. The first phase of the ropeway was completed in 1998 and the second phase with 36 cabins and 18 towers was completed in a record time of two years and it opened for the public from 28 May 2005.
