Um levantamento feito pelo Serviço de Proteção ao Crédito (SPC Brasil) mostra que 48% dos consumidores consultados pretendem reduzir os gastos neste começo de ano. O principal motivo é o nível elevado de preços.
Outra razão apontada foi o desemprego ou apenas o interesse em economizar para enfrentar o endividamento e a situação financeira difícil.
Na lista de compras para janeiro destacam-se, além dos produtos essenciais de consumo, roupas, calçados e acessórios (27%), remédios (17%), recarga para celular (13%), perfumes e cosméticos (10%) e móveis (8%), entre outros.
A pesquisa mostra que quatro em cada dez consumidores estavam com as contas em atraso no fim de 2017, o que equivale a 38% dos casos analisados e 45% declararam que estão no limite dos ganhos.
Poucos têm sobra no orçamento
Só 13% conseguiram chegar ao final do ano passado com sobra no orçamento. Entre os que fizeram empréstimos ou financiamentos, 22% estavam inadimplentes. A pesquisa mostrou ainda que 47% usaram mais o cartão de crédito em novembro, tendo um gasto médio de R$ 1.035. Ao mesmo tempo, 30% não alteraram os gastos e 19% disseram que reduziram o valor do consumo.
O estudo detectou que os gastos feitos com o cartão de crédíto em sua maioria (66%) foram para adquirir itens essenciais em supermercados como, por exemplo, alimentos; 51% para remédios; 36% combustíveis; 33% com bares e restaurantes; 31% recarga de celular e 15% com gastos diversos.
