Mesmo com a comemoração oficial adiada para 14 de junho na cidade, filhos decidiram comprar presentes para homenagear as mães neste domingo (10) em Ribeirão Preto (SP).
Em razão do decreto contra a pandemia do novo coronavírus, que fechou todos os estabelecimentos considerados não essenciais no estado de São Paulo, a Prefeitura e a Câmara dos Vereadores decidiram atender a um pedido das entidades do comércio e alteraram a data.
O objetivo é evitar mais prejuízos aos comerciantes, que já acumulam queda nas vendas desde março.

Apesar da alteração, muitos filhos optaram por comemorar o Dia das Mães neste domingo, mesmo à distância.

A manicure Marilza Pazeto comprou um creme hidratante e sabonetes para a mãe. Ela também vai entregar o presente no domingo, mas os abraços vão ter que esperar.

Dona de uma floricultura, Isabel Ramazza Marques diz que não percebeu queda no movimento porque as vendas foram feitas por telefone e pelas redes sociais.
“Há cerca de dez dias, estamos aceitando pedido pelo Whatsapp, pelo nosso site, drive thru. Como é a melhor data do ano, muitos filhos já estavam se organizando por causa do medo da pandemia”, diz a comerciante.
As entregas têm sido feitas desde segunda-feira (4) e seguem até domingo. “Estamos respeitando todos os protocolos de higiene”, afirma.

Drive-thru no comércio
Aqueles que ainda quiserem presentear as mães podem aproveitar as lojas que estão funcionando por sistema drive-thru. Nesta semana, a Prefeitura regulamentou as vendas para ajudar os lojistas e a população, sem acesso a muitos produtos desde o início do decreto.
De acordo com a regras editadas pelo Executivo, os consumidores precisam fazer as encomendas com antecedência por canais de comunicação disponibilizados pelas lojas, como Whatsapp.
Com a encomenda feita, o cliente vai até o estabelecimento de carro, mas não pode descer do veículo para recebê-la. Comércio e consumidores precisam seguir as regras de higiene estabelecidas pela Prefeitura e todos os envolvidos na entrega devem usar máscaras.
Desde sexta-feira, as lojas do calçadão utilizam o drive thru coletivo montado na Esplanada do Theatro Pedro II. A solicitação do espaço foi feita pelo Sindicato do Comércio Varejista (Sincovarp) e pela Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas (CDL) à Prefeitura, que autorizou a operação.
