A Prefeitura Municipal de Orlândia realiza 2ª etapa de nebulização contra a Dengue. Os serviços de pulverização do popularmente conhecido “Fumacê”, está sendo realizado em todos os bairros de Orlândia. Uma 1ª etapa foi executada no início de maio, já contando com a utilização de duas novas bombas de pulverização, adquiridas pela atual Administração Municipal. Estas novas bombas são muito mais eficientes do que as anteriores e agridem menos o meio ambiente.
A ação deste produto só é efetiva quando o inseticida está em suspensão no ar e só mata o mosquito. O inseticida não mata as larvas do Aedes aegypti, que estão em caixas d’água, potes, baldes, pneus, lajes. Sendo assim, imprescindível que a população continue sempre atenta, pois cerca de 90% dos focos estão localizados nas residências.
Neste próximo final de semana, dias 14, 15 e 16 de maio, será realizada a 2ª etapa destas aplicações em todos os bairros da cidade, no período da manhã das 06h às 10h e no período da tarde a partir das 17h.

Nesta 2ª etapa ainda será realizado o Fumacê nas ruas, e gradualmente passará a ser utilizado o uso definitivo somente de nebulização (bombas novas) que garante melhor resultado (eliminação dos mosquitos), embora não tenha ampla visibilidade como o fumacê que gera uma densa nuvem de fumaça, pois a aplicação de nebulização é feita a frio e com água.
