Durante o Jornal Orlândia do Povo desta sexta – feira (12), recebemos ao vivo a Raquel Dias – Secretária de Educação e Ediclelson Oliveira – Diretor de Industria e Comércio , falando sobre a implantação do polo de ensino gratuito da Universidade Virtual de São Paulo (Univesp), em Orlândia.
Além de Orlândia, outros 47 municípios se mostraram interessados
em implantar polos de ensino gratuito da Universidade Virtual de São Paulo
(Univesp).
O Polo UNIVESP de Orlândia oferecerá três cursos de ensino gratuito: Letras, matemática e pedagogia, com duração de quatro anos cada e certificado reconhecido pelo MEC.
Serão disponibilizadas 20 vagas por modalidade e a seleção dos candidatos se dará através de vestibular.
Conforme cronograma da UNIVESP, o vestibular deverá ocorrer em dezembro e o início das aulas em fevereiro de 2020.
Os cursos da UNIVESP são realizados em ambiente virtual, que garante a interação do estudante com os agentes de apoio pedagógico (facilitador, tutor, supervisor), além de disponibilizar videoaulas, bibliotecas digitais e os conteúdos didáticos.

SOBRE A UNIVESP
Criada em 2012, a Universidade Virtual do Estado de São Paulo é uma instituição exclusivamente de educação a distância, mantida pelo Governo do Estado de São Paulo e vinculada à Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Econômico (SDE). Entre seus principais parceiros, destacam-se o Centro Paula Souza (CPS) e as universidades USP, Unesp, Unicamp. Atualmente, a Univesp conta com mais de 31 mil alunos matriculados em 330 polos do Estado, localizados em 287 municípios. São oferecidos os cursos de Tecnologia em Gestão Pública, Engenharias de Produção e Computação, Licenciaturas em Biologia, Química, Física, Matemática, Pedagogia e Letras.
