Ministro da Economia condicionou liberação de dinheiro de contas ativas e inativas à aprovação de reformas. Ele sinalizou a medida no dia em que IBGE anunciou queda do PIB no 1º trimestre.
O ministro da Economia, Paulo Guedes, afirmou nesta quinta-feira (30) que, para estimular o reaquecimento da economia, o governo estuda a liberação de recursos dos trabalhadores depositados em contas inativas e ativas do Fundo de Garantia por Tempo de Serviço (FGTS) “assim que forem aprovadas as reformas”, entre as quais a da Previdência.
Ele também disse que a área econômica avalia liberar dinheiro do abono salarial PIS-Pasep para jogar dinheiro no mercado e movimentar a economia. O PIS é um abono pago aos trabalhadores da iniciativa privada administrado pela Caixa Econômica Federal. O Pasep é pago a servidores públicos por meio do Banco do Brasil.
Paulo Guedes falou sobre essas intenções no dia em que foi anunciada uma retração do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) no primeiro trimestre deste ano. Em uma entrevista concedida na portaria do ministério, ele comentou o resultado divulgado nesta quinta pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE).
Responsável pela política econômica do governo Jair Bolsonaro, Guedes ressaltou, entretanto, que não vai buscar implementar “truques, nem mágicas” para estimular a economia, mas que vai buscar fazer “reformas sérias”.
Segundo ele, medidas artificiais de estímulo à economia, como uma “liberaçãozinha” de recursos, ou corte artificial dos juros, já foram implementadas no passado sem sucesso, gerando o que ele classificou como um padrão de “voo de galinha” na economia (crescimento baixo e inconsistente).
“O sonho do crescimento está ao alcance de nossas mãos. Basta implementar as reformas. Como está demorando a implementação das reformas, revisões [de alta do PIB] foram acontecendo para baixo. Me perguntaram isso: ‘a economia não está respondendo?’. Eu disse, ‘respondendo a quê?’ Não fizemos nada ainda”, declarou o ministro da Economia.
