HC de Ribeirão Preto tem 16 profissionais afastados com Covid-19 e espera ampliar testes para 100 por dia

Superintendente do Hospital das Clínicas diz que insumos para exames do novo coronavírus serão repassados pelo governo estadual. Unidade foi credenciada para exames.

Dezesseis profissionais do Hospital das Clínicas (HC) de Ribeirão Preto (SP) foram contaminados com o novo coronavírus, causador da doença Covid-19, e estão em isolamento domiciliar. Segundo o diretor do Departamento de Atenção à Saúde, Antonio Pazin Filho, todos têm bom quadro de saúde e se recuperam. Dentre eles há médicos e médicos residentes.

O hospital conseguiu, na segunda-feira (30), o credenciamento para realizar exames de identificação da doença sem necessidade de contraprova. O superintendente do HC, Benedito Carlos Maciel, afirmou que a direção enviou ao governo estadual qual a necessidade de insumos para ampliação do número de testes.

Atualmente, o HC obtém os exames com recursos próprios, o que permite realizar de 30 a 40 testes diários. A expectativa é ampliar para 100 e até 200 exames diários a partir da chegada de insumos da Secretaria Estadual de Saúde. Não há previsão para resposta da pasta estadual.

“Com a chegada dos insumos, a gente planeja 100 exames diários, mas como eu disse existe capacidade de ampliar, havendo insumos a gente pode chegar a 200 exames e das indicações que forem estabelecidas”, informou Maciel.

Os resultados dos exames ficam prontos de 10h a 12h, no máximo em 24h a depender da demanda, segundo Maciel.

Sem casos suspeitos na UTI

O HC também faz parte da lista estadual de hospitais que são referência para o atendimento de pacientes com suspeita da doença que estejam com quadro mais grave da Covid-19.

Segundo Pazin, até esta terça-feira (31), a unidade não estava com nenhum paciente na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) para coronavírus, já que passaram pelo teste e o resultado foi negativo. Com isso, os pacientes voltaram para a UTI geral ou para os quartos de internação.

Sete pacientes com suspeita de coronavírus aguardam o resultado de exames para serem liberados. A expectativa é que os laudos sejam negativos para Covid-19.

Vaquinha para ajudar hospital

Maciel destacou que a pandemia é uma situação excepcional e que, por conta do aumento na demanda, o hospital iniciou uma vaquinha online para buscar recursos e comprar equipamentos como máscaras, luvas, álcool gel, avental e óculos de proteção.

“A expectativa é que ao longo dessa semana o volume de pacientes deve aumentar e obviamente a gente sempre trabalha com perspectivas do que a gente observa em outras cidades e outros países, portanto um aumento muito grande da demanda. Como essa é uma situação excepcional a gente decidiu buscar recursos”.

Tanto Maciel quanto Pazin também elogiaram a sociedade ao dizerem que houve entendimento e adesão às medidas tomadas pelos hospitais para combate ao novo coronavírus.

“Nós tivemos uma aderência muito grande dos pacientes às medidas que nos tomamos e a informação que tivemos dos outros hospitais é de uma boa aderência e um bom entendimento do processo”, disse Pazin.
