Imagens de uma câmera de segurança flagraram o momento em que um pedreiro é perseguido por um grupo antes de ser espancado até a morte na Vila Virgínia, zona oeste de Ribeirão Preto (SP).
A vítima de 40 anos chegou a ser atendida e levada à unidade de emergência do Hospital das Clínicas (HC-UE), mas não resistiu.
Um eletricista foi preso por suspeita de participação nas agressões. O caso é investigado pelo 6º Distrito Policial.
No vídeo, é possível ver que, já na madrugada de sábado (6), quatro homens aparecem correndo atrás do pedreiro por volta de 1h20 na Rua Doutor João Guião, próximo ao cruzamento com a Cardeal Arcoverde.
As imagens também registram que um dos suspeitos, o mais próximo da vítima, carrega um pedaço de madeira nas mãos e ataca o pedreiro. Em torno de um minuto depois, os quatro indivíduos reaparecem retornando pelo mesmo caminho, mas dessa vez sem pressa.
Segundo apuração da EPTV, afiliada da TV Globo, o homem flagrado com o pedaço de madeira é suspeito que acabou posteriormente preso. Os outros três ainda não foram identificados.

Pedreiro espancado Consta no boletim de ocorrência que a vítima levou socos, chutes e apanhou com um pedaço de madeira porque estaria envolvida em estupros.
Testemunhas ligaram para o telefone 190 após ouvirem gritos. Elas relataram à Polícia Militar que quatro homens gritavam “pega o jack”, fazendo menção à vítima, e informaram características físicas e das roupas que o grupo usava.
Gravemente ferido na cabeça, o homem foi socorrido pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e levado à Unidade Básica Distrital de Saúde (UBDS) da Vila Virgínia.
Por causa da gravidade do quadro, ele foi transferido para a Unidade de Emergência do Hospital das Clínicas (HC-UE), mas não resistiu e morreu na manhã de domingo (7).
Em patrulhamento pela região, os policiais encontraram um eletricista que admitiu ter participado das agressões. O homem foi preso em flagrante e um pedaço de madeira, que teria sido usado contra o pedreiro, foi apreendido. Ele deverá responder por homicídio.
