Dos 24 alimentos analisados pela Associação Paulista de Supermercados (Apas), 22 tiveram reajustes
A época das tradicionais festas juninas é, historicamente, um período de boas vendas para o setor supermercadista, graças à capacidade das lojas em fornecer ingredientes e produtos para o preparo de pratos e bebidas típicas deste folclore nacional. Neste ano, a APAS (Associação Paulista de Supermercados) mantém o otimismo com o crescimento nas vendas, mesmo com a alta nos preços dos principais itens consumidos no período. A expectativa da entidade é de crescimento de 3,7% nas vendas juninas em 2019, no comparativo com o mesmo período do ano passado.
“O Brasil vive um momento de espera para a aprovação das reformas necessárias para destravar o investimento. As festas de São João acontecem bem no período pré-decisão da Reforma da Previdência, o que, em conjunto com a alta do dólar, pode fazer os preços subirem um pouco. Por outro lado, o leve aumento dos empregos formais em 293.000 vagas em 2019 nos deixa otimistas para projetarmos vendas levemente superiores às da mesma época do ano passado, quando fechamos em alta de 3,5%”, avaliou o economista da APAS, Thiago Berka.
Destaques e Preços
Para a análise dos preços em 2019, a APAS selecionou produtos e ingredientes que formam a base para a maioria das receitas dos pratos mais consumidos na época. Entre os principais itens identificados como típicos de festas juninas, estão: milho, arroz, coco, maçã, açúcar, pimentas, derivados de carne, leite, doce de leite, vinho, aguardente, limão e laranja.
“Quando analisamos os produtos típicos em relação às vendas gerais e comparamos com a média mensal anual, a performance chega a ser de 35% a 50% a mais de vendas em junho e julho”, comentou o economista da APAS.
O cenário para o período junino de 2019 demonstra que, dos 24 produtos típicos selecionados pela APAS, 22 apresentam inflação no comparativo com a mesma época de 2018. Os maiores aumentos foram observados nas frutas, como limão, laranja e maçã. Vale destacar também as altas do creme de leite e manteiga.
