A Confederação dos Trabalhadores no Serviço Público Federal (Condsef/Fenadsef) divulgou um cálculo feito com base em seus integrantes demonstrando que cem mil funcionários públicos do Executivo Federal já podem se aposentar. Esses servidores completaram o tempo de contribuição, chamado de abono-permanência. O Ministério da Economia confirmou que atualmente há 108 mil servidores na ativa que podem solicitar a aposentadoria. A confederação representa 80% dos funcionários do Executivo Federal.
A entidade também estima que 50% do total de servidores do Executivo da União, cerca de 650 mil pessoas, vão se aposentar até 2021. Para a Condsef/Fenadsef, em breve vai acontecer um colapso no serviço público porque as vagas dos servidores que se aposentam não estão sendo repostas, por conta da não realização de novos concursos públicos, e a maior parte dos postos está nas áreas de atendimento direto à população, como a Saúde e o INSS.

Ministério da Economia divulga dados diferentes
As projeções da Condsef não foram confirmadas pelo Ministério da Economia. O órgão argumentou que há 621 mil servidores na ativa do Executivo Federal e disse que a previsão de aposentadorias até 2021 é de 150 mil e, até 2023, aproximadamente 180 mil funcionários públicos federais poderão se aposentar. O Ministério não informou em que áreas do serviço público da União estão esses servidores.
No dia 29 de março, o presidente Jair Bolsonaro e o ministro da Economia, Paulo Guedes, editaram um decreto que aumentou as exigências para a realização de novos concursos públicos federais.
