Moradores reclamam de falta d’água há 4 dias em Orlândia: ‘ficamos sem tomar banho’, diz idosa

Moradores do Jardim Santa Rita, em Orlândia (SP), reclamam de falta d’água há quatro dias, mesmo após a inauguração de um poço artesiano que deveria abastecer essa região. As casas estão sendo atendidas por dois caminhões-pipa, mas os vizinhos dizem que a quantidade é insuficiente.

Em nota, a Prefeitura alega que um problema na bomba do poço artesiano que abastece o bairro prejudicou a distribuição de água. Após o conserto do equipamento, na terça-feira (14), um vazamento e um problema em outro poço aumentaram ainda mais a falta d’água.

A auxiliar de cozinha Priscila Leguri Custódio diz que desde a última segunda-feira (13) não recebe uma gota de água nas torneiras. Com filho pequeno e o pai acamado por conta de um acidente vascular cerebral, ela afirma que está buscando água em um reservatório no bairro vizinho.

“A gente vê lavando calçada, lavando carro, aguando as plantas no canteiro. Eu filmei um vazamento de água em frente ao mini-hospital, vazando água potável. Eles falam que o nosso problema é a bomba. A gente liga lá, mas tem vezes que nem atendem”, reclama.

Sem ter como ir ao mesmo reservatório, por causa da distância, a aposentada Lourdes Antunes de Lima está contando com a ajuda de uma vizinha que possui carro. A idosa diz que, sem água na caixa, não conseguiu tomar banho nesta quarta-feira (15).

“Quando vem um pouquinho de água, aí eu encho o tanquinho para tomar banho. É muito sofrimento, ainda mais crianças que vão para escola, não tem como dar banho todo dia. Ontem, ficamos o dia todo sem tomar banho porque não tinha água”, afirma.

A dona de casa Elaine Aparecida Leguri reclama que, apesar de caminhões-pipa estarem abastecendo as casas, nem todos os moradores recebem porque a demanda é alta e a Prefeitura não consegue atender todos os pedidos.

“Eu não acredito que seja problema de seca. A seca só está no bairro Jardim Santa Rita? Isso vem se arrastando há seis anos. Não são seis dias, não são 60 dias, não são 600 dias, são seis anos. É só chegar essa época, a gente passa por essa humilhação. Isso é desumano”, diz.

Problemas

Em nota, a Prefeitura de Orlândia informa que detectou um problema na bomba do poço artesiano “Marico”, responsável pelo abastecimento do Jardim Santa Rita e do Jardim Siena, na segunda-feira (13). O conserto foi finalizado no dia seguinte.

Entretanto, nesta quinta-feira (15), equipes estão realizado o conserto de um vazamento próximo ao mini-hospital, o que vai interromper o serviço nesses bairros. A conclusão é que o trabalho termine até o fim do dia.

“Também foi detectado um problema com a bomba do Poço Artesiano do Jardim Jequitibá, que desligou automaticamente na última noite, deixando o reservatório praticamente vazio. Já foi realizado o ligamento manual e será dada manutenção no poço”, diz o comunicado.

Ainda segundo a Prefeitura, em outubro foi entregue um novo poço artesiano no Jardim Vista Linda, que está sendo usado para atender exclusivamente o Jardim Santa Rita, porém, com todos esses problemas, não foi suficiente para abastecer todos os moradores.
