Motorista que abandonou amigos após acidente na Rodovia Anhanguera é preso em Goiás

Marcos Paulo Hasimoto, de 26 anos, foi preso em hospital de Catalão. Carro dirigido por ele bateu em caminhão e capotou na Rodovia Anhanguera, em Guará .

A Polícia Civil prendeu na noite desta quinta-feira (6) o estudante Marcos Paulo Hasimoto, de 26 anos, que fugiu após se envolver em um acidente que matou um amigo dele e deixou outro ferido, na madrugada de domingo (2), na Rodovia Anhanguera, em Guará (SP). A suspeita é que ele dirigia bêbado.

De acordo com o delegado Rafael de Paula Leão, responsável pela investigação, Hasimoto foi localizado em Catalão (GO). Uma foto que circulava nas redes sociais levou os policiais a identificar o paradeiro do motorista. Na imagem, ele aparece com vários ferimentos, deitado na maca de um hospital.

A Justiça expediu um mandado de prisão preventiva contra ele e policiais de Catalão cumpriram a ordem no início da noite desta quinta-feira.

Segundo a polícia, Hasimoto está na Santa Casa e só deverá ser levado a Guará, quando receber alta.

O advogado dele disse que não vai comentar o assunto.

Acidente e garrafas de bebida

Marcos Paulo estava desaparecido desde a madrugada de domingo, quando aconteceu o acidente. De acordo com a Polícia Militar Rodoviária, o carro que ele dirigia bateu na traseira de um caminhão, capotou e foi parar no canteiro central da Rodovia Anhanguera (SP-330).

O motorista do caminhão parou para ajudar as vítimas e disse que viu quando Hasimoto dispensou quatro garrafas de uísque que estavam no carro. Junior Melo Silveira afirmou que o estudante tinha sinais visíveis de embriaguez. Em seguida, segundo a testemunha, o condutor fugiu por uma mata, deixando dois amigos feridos para trás.

O químico Lucas Lemos da Silva, de 23 anos, morreu no local. O almoxarife Ênio da Silva Costa Junior, de 35 anos, ficou gravemente ferido e foi levado a hospital particular em Ribeirão Preto (SP), onde permanece internado.

Investigação

Na quarta-feira (5), Ênio foi ouvido pela polícia no hospital. Segundo o delegado, ele contou que os três amigos voltavam de uma festa em São Joaquim da Barra (SP) e que todos tinham consumido bebida alcoólica.

Ênio disse ainda que dormia no banco de trás do carro no momento da colisão e que não se lembra das garrafas de uísque que estariam no automóvel.

No dia do acidente, peritos encontraram uma garrafa com um terço de bebida alcoólica e um copo ao lado do carro. O veículo, que ficou completamente destruído, foi apreendido e levado a um pátio, em Guará.

O caso foi registrado como homicídio culposo na direção de veículo, quando não há intenção de matar.
