Duas fábricas de calçados foram fechadas em Franca (SP) nesta quinta-feira (28) em uma operação do Departamento Estadual de Investigações Criminais (Deic) de combate à pirataria. Ninguém foi preso.
As empresas, localizadas na Rua Cassiano Ricardo e na Avenida Dom Pedro I, são suspeitas de produzirem sapatos falsificados de marcas famosas comercializados em conhecidos centros de compras como a Rua 25 de Março e a região do Brás, em São Paulo.
De acordo com o departamento, as investigações começaram a partir de apreensões de produtos em depósitos localizados nas principais áreas de comércio popular da capital paulista.
Além disso, os agentes contaram com documentos fornecidos por representantes dos detentores dos direitos sobre as marcas usadas indevidamente nos calçados.
De acordo com o Deic, os produtos falsificados eram comercializados por até um terço do valor dos originais.
“Inegavelmente os produtos que são contrafeitos apresentam uma qualidade bem inferior àqueles produtos originais que são submetidos a inúmeros testes de qualidade dentro das especificações técnicas determinadas por inúmeros órgãos governamentais”, afirmou o delegado Wagner Carrasco.
Durante a força-tarefa, 20 policiais participaram das buscas em Franca, segundo o Deic. As fábricas que foram fechadas nesta quinta-feira produziam até mil calçados por semana e estavam em atividade quando foi deflagrada a operação.
Além de calçados, foram apreendidas máquinas. Todo o material foi levado para a perícia em São Paulo. Os responsáveis pelas empresas foram liberados após prestarem depoimento na delegacia, mas responderão por crime contra registro de marca.
