O Projeto Ver e Viver, busca detectar e tratar problemas visuais em alunos de 5 a 11 anos que fazem parte da rede municipal de ensino
Aconteceu na manha desta terça – feira (21) a cerimonia de inauguração do Projeto Ver e Viver, uma parceria realizada entre o Grupo Intelli, Fundação AcelorMittal, Unimed – Alta Mogiana e Prefeitura Municipal.
O Projeto Ver e Viver, visa detectar e tratar problemas visuais em alunos de 5 a 11 anos que fazem parte da rede municipal de ensino .
Testes de acuidade visual são
aplicados por educadores e profissionais de saúde capacitados e, em caso de
necessidade, os estudantes são encaminhados a consultas médicas.
Sabendo que o rendimento escolar de
crianças e adolescentes podem ser prejudicados por problemas visuais, o
programa Ver e Viver oferece ainda, a doação de óculos a esses alunos.

evento e conversou com os representantes dessa parceria.
Chiara Spedicato – Diretora de recursos Humanos do Grupo Intelli falou sobre o projeto:
“Através da parceria, estamos trazendo o projeto que visa atender as crianças do primeiro ao quinto ano do ensino fundamental. A meta é atingir cem por cento dessas crianças ”
Paulo Oliboni – Coordenador da Fundação ArcelorMittal esteve na cerimonia e falou sobre a origem do projeto Ver e Viver:
“ Trabalho na área comercial da ArcelorMittal e o projeto nasceu da idéia de nos relacionarmos melhor com nossos clientes , contribuir para o desenvolvimento e investir no social e nas suas comunidades ”
O prefeito Vado falou da importância das parcerias e também falou sobre o Projeto Ver e Viver:
“Eu sempre destaco a importância das parcerias. Esse projeto será realizado em parceria com a Intelli, AcelorMittal e Unimed e proporciona um grande ganho para o município financeiramente . A Prefeitura hoje tem um grande orçamento mas não consegue atender a tudo. Vamos começar agora a detectar, e acredito que podemos atender até duas mil crianças . ”
Na condição de vice-presidente da Unimed, Dr. Sergio Bordin falou sobre a questão social do projeto:
“A Unimed tem uma forte visão social . Além da parte médica, a Unimed sempre tenta ajudar o município através de projetos e ações sociais. Quando surgiu essa ideia do projeto Ver e Viver, nós abraçamos a causa. ”
Por último,o Comendador Vincenzo Spedicato também destacou a importância da ação social :
“Nossa filosofia foi sempre essa: devolver a sociedade , um pouco de tudo que ela nos dá. É assim que se faz politica social .É assim que nós contribuímos com a sociedade de Orlândia”
O Programa
O Ver e Viver foi implementado em
1997 pela ArcelorMittal , em Piracicaba/SP e a partir de 2000, foi expandido para
outros municípios e passou a ser gerido pela Fundação ArcelorMittal Brasil.
