Foi realizado na última sexta-feira (29), a inauguração do Projeto “Educa Judô” na Apae de Orlândia.
Segundo a assessoria de comunicação da Prefeitura Municipal, o
projeto esportivo da Prefeitura de Orlândia, que a princípio atendia à
população em geral, no Centro de Lazer “Edgar Benini” , agora
atenderá também os alunos que possuem algum tipo de necessidade especial, da
APAE e Projeto Vitória.
Devido ao aporte fiscal da empresa Morlan, serão atendidos mais de 20 alunos da
Apae e do Projeto Vitória, onde os jovens receberam todo material esportivo de
primeira linha.
No lançamento e entrega do material, estiveram presentes o prefeito Vado, o Diretor da empresa Morlan, Nelson Corrêa, a Presidente da Apae Orlândia, Edna Maria Galdino, a Diretora da Apae, Carla Ribeiro, Paulo Vianna, Secretário Municipal de Esportes, o Diretor de Esportes, Dr. Celton Pelizaro e vários colaboradores do núcleo da Apae Orlândia e Proj Vitória.
Cleber do Carmo, idealizador do “Educa Judô”, salientou a importância do esporte na inclusão social. “O judô é um esporte de inclusão e pode ser praticado por todos, ver isso acontecer em Orlândia é a realização de um sonho, contar com o apoio da Prefeitura de Orlândia e desta grande empresa, a Morlan SA, nos deixa seguros e nos ajuda a realizar um grande trabalho”.
Já o mestre Pedro Boer, que vive
o dia a dia desse núcleo, afirma que agora com a chegada do material esportivo,
poderá caminhar a passos largos e sem dúvida alguma crescer ainda mais o
projeto em nossa cidade.
